Present status

The India's premier center for legal education and practice, Dr Ambedkar Law College provides unparalleled opportunities to study law and related disciplines in an energetic, intensive and creative learning environment. Dr Ambedkar Law College provides qualitative legal education and prepares students for success in law practice, business, public service, and teaching. Through its meritorious and qualified faculty, meritorious students, and alumni, Dr Ambedkar Law College is able to contribute solutions to the India's most complex legal and social challenges. At the time of starting Dr Ambedkar Law College at Tirupati the intake of students was only 100 and present strength is 800 students. For the degree holder 3 years LLB course with two sections each 80 students i.e., 160 students and for Intermediate/plus-two candidates the college is offering 5 years integrated LLB degree course with one section of 80 students. So far the college has produced 13 batches of law graduates and made them responsible lawyers of this country. The courses are offered only in English medium with co-education. Our students come from all the states in India and offers admission to the foreign students too. Dr Ambedkar Law College is an equal opportunity law school. Outside the class room, there are a rich variety of student practice organizations, law firms, law corporations, legal institutions, professional interest groups, social groups, and law based NGOs to pursue every possible interest.

Future Plans

Inspite of the fact that these institutions are imparting education, hardly there is any institution which imparts quality education. Therefore our society has gushing concern to impart quality and value based education with job-oriented professional courses in all the disciplines like LLB (Hons), LLM, MBA, MCA, MSc-Bio Tech, Bio-Chemistry, Computer Courses, BEd, MEd, MBBS, Nursing, BPT, BDS, MDS, BTech, BArch, BE, ME, MPhil, PhD, Post-Graduate courses in all branches, Agricultural BSc, MSc, MS, MSIS, BBA.
